Area Update
ARC’s central Alberta area stretches across the centre of Alberta and reaches as far as Smiley in western Saskatchewan. Reserves from the area are over 25 million barrels of oil equivalent with a reserve life of 8.6 years
ARC completed its first commercial Natural Gas from Coal or NGC project at Delburne in 2006 as part of a first phase of an NGC production project. ARC believes the development of NGC in this area will make the area a more meaningful component of ARC’s asset base.
